This January 2026, SS Lazio’s world-renowned academy coaches arrive in Sydney for a groundbreaking collaboration with St George FC, marking the first time an official European top-flight club delivers a camp of this kind in tandem with an Australian NPL club.
Hosted over two weeks at St George FC’s premier facilities, the SS Lazio Talent Identification Camp offers boys (U8–U19) and girls (U8–U20) an unprecedented opportunity to train under the exact methodology used inside Lazio’s elite youth system.

A GENUINE ACADEMY CONNECTION
– NOT A BRANDED FRANCHISE
While many global clubs host “international camps” or set up licensed academies that operate in isolation from their real youth programs, this initiative is fundamentally different.
This is an authentic technical partnership: Lazio’s own academy staff will be on the ground delivering their official training curriculum, mentoring local coaches, and directly scouting players for potential integration into the actual SS Lazio youth structure in Rome.
TRAIN WITH THE REAL LAZIO
EARN A REAL TRIAL
At the conclusion of the camp, a minimum of two standout players will be selected for an all-expenses-paid, two-week official trial with SS Lazio in Rome!
This is not a promotional “experience” — it is a formal trial within Lazio’s Academy, evaluated by the same technical directors who oversee the club’s professional youth teams. Successful trialists may earn contractual or other developmental opportunities within Lazio’s pathway — a first for an Australian-based program.

For too long, real pathways from Australia into elite European football have been almost non-existent. This camp was created to change that — to establish a legitimate, recurring link between Australian talent and one of Italy’s most respected academies.
